Nicodemus is a very special member of the Charmed in Company family.
At 16 years old, Nicodemus is a sleek black cat with light green-gold eyes, a Virgo Sun, Pisces Moon, and Libra Rising. He has always seemed unusually sensitive to energy and has a way of making his preferences known.
Nicodemus came to Charmed in Company when he was just seven weeks old. Both of his parents were feral, but somehow this little black kitten found his way into our lives—and he has been part of Charmed in Company ever since.
He travels back and forth to work with Victoria every day, where he has access to all the things he finds most interesting: gems, crystals, books, and all sorts of mystical treasures.
And Nicodemus definitely has opinions about where things belong.
He has been known to move and rearrange gems and crystals, sometimes positioning them so he can touch them, sit beside them, or simply stretch out and lie on top of them. Whether it's curiosity, comfort, or something more intuitive, Nicodemus has always seemed particularly drawn to the energy of stones.
He Chose His Own Name
Nicodemus even chose his own name.
When he was a kitten, Victoria cleared her mind, held him, and asked him what he wanted to be called.
The first name that came through was Myrrh.
Victoria looked at him, but something didn't feel quite right.
So she cleared her mind and asked again.
This time, the answer came through clearly:
Nicodemus.
Curious about the name, Victoria researched famous people named Nicodemus and discovered an interesting connection to the biblical Nicodemus, who is traditionally associated with myrrh.
That little coincidence made his chosen name feel even more meaningful.
The name Nicodemus is traditionally interpreted as “Victory for the people.”
Why “Professor Nicodemus”?
His name is simply Nicodemus.
But over the years, his age, patience, observation, and uncanny sensitivity have earned him another title:
Professor Nicodemus.
The title became especially fitting as he became the face of the Professor Nicodemus Paranormal Archive—our collection of mysteries, investigations, strange occurrences, and curious questions.
At 16, Nicodemus has earned his wisdom.
He is the quiet observer.
The crystal rearranger.
The mysterious little supervisor.
And perhaps, most importantly, a reminder that sometimes the most interesting things are the things we can't quite explain.
Welcome to the world of Nicodemus, the Charmed Cat.

 This is a speical month for Nicodemus.
     On Aug 26 he turns 16 and we are going to have a spectacular celebration! We have planned all kinds of activities, fre classes, and prizes. If you are in the area it is not to be missed. We are extending our hours 10 am - 7 pm so everyone will have an opportunity to experience Nicodemus Day!

     Nicodemus has been busy behind the scenes filming his New Professor Nicodmeus Paranormal Archive footage. Case files will be available at the Charmed in Company table at the L.B.I. Historical Society Paracon event on Aug 29th (12 pm - 5 pm 129 Engleside Ave, Beach Haven, Kasandra and Victoria will be set up on the porch)  Nicodemus will be back at the archive.
