The powerful and steadfast Ox makes his way to the forefront removing the Rat from its central position. What general energy can one expect in 2021? If opportunities were taken under the year of the rat (last year) this year you will be able to set the foundation for them to grow. Growth is a powerful term this year as the Ox represents anything to do with agriculture, the Earth, and farming. It is a good year to begin a garden and to plow and prepare for your plans and desires to grow. This is not a year for luck, risk, or chance, so business decisions should be based on sound information and steps should be taken to secure your foundation. This will not be a quick moving year, as Ox energy is associated with the winter and dormancy. This year the OX is in the element of metal, which can be sharp and unyielding. The stubbornness of the OX can create inflexibility and the feeling of being stifled. It will be important to give yourself outlets to release built up tension and to allow time to reset yourself.  Using nature as a tool for meditation and introspection can aid you.
